Emotional Stewardship

Biblical Emotional Intelligence - Becoming the Difference by Pastor Jo Watch Now!

Emotional Intelligence through Spiritual Maturity

Romans 8 4-5 "That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."

Emotional Intelligence/Emotional Quotient (EI/EQ), is what the Bible refers to as spiritual discernment, or godly wisdom. Jesus was Emotionally Intelligent. He perceived things with His Spirit, rather than reacting to His circumstances or other people. He possessed an eternal perspective as He interacted with others and went about His Father's business.

Emotional Quotient at its Best!

Biblical EQ or emotional intuitiveness was summed up best when Jesus said to him," you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it, you shall love your neighbour as you love yourself. These two commandments sum up and upon them depend on all the Law of the Prophets." (Matthew 22:37-40) ♥
