Symbolism of the Unleavened Bread - God's Appointed Feast
Freedom as in the Exodus 12:39 account which led the Israelite's out of Egypt. Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron in the night telling them to leave because their God had shown Himself faithful. There was no time to wait for the God's people to raise their bread so hey wrapped up their bread and put it in their carry bags and they fled. Do not eat it with bread made with yeast, but for seven days eat unleavened bread, the bread of affliction, because you left Egypt in haste—so that all the days of your life you may remember the time of your departure from Egypt (Deuteronomy 16:3 New International Version). During this annual week long feast yeast is not eaten and is removed from the homes of those that celebrate these holy days. Scriptural Requirements Guiding the Feast of Unleavened Bread
