One in Messiah

1 John 4:19

Yeshua (Jesus) Came to Fulfill His Word...

One New Man, Body, and Nation

Picture
The Bible tells us that the only way to be reconciled with the One True God of all creation is by God's grace alone, faith alone which He imparts by hearing the Word of God, in Jesus Christ alone. James 1:22-25 takes it a step further that we must also be doers of the word - walk the walk if you will - otherwise we are deceiving ourselves into believing that an authentic change has taken place within our innermost being.  Yeshua (Jesus) ministry demonstrated this change of heart when He came to fulfill the law in and through His life and selfless example of His hesed/chesed love.

There is only one Mediator between God and humans and that Mediator is the Messiah Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew in the original text - Read more.) God in the flesh in the person of Christ (incarnate).

When we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart
that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (John 3:1-21 and Romans 10:9 spiritually born-again ).

When this happens the person is no longer distinguished as a Jew or Gentile (non-Jew), but a 'new creation.' There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28-29 ). The recipients (both Jews and Non-Jews/Gentiles) of this saving faith are spiritually reconciled with the Creator of heaven and earth (universe) as were their patriarchs and heirs of God's promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Ephesians 2:10-12).

Ephesians 2:11-22 New International Version (NIV) Jew and Gentile Reconciled With and Through Christ

11 Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands)-- 12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which He put to death their hostility. 17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of His household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the Chief Cornerstone. 21 In Him the whole building (Body of Christ) is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.

God is a Spirit, therefore, He chose to manifest Himself to the world through the Bible (His Word) and through the person of Jesus Christ. His born again children are not to live on bread alone, but to grow into the men and women of God that He created them to be by consuming, believing, understanding, maturing, and by being doers of the Word. This process is called sanctification. Sanctification makes disciples who then go on to share the Good News - The Gospel, and making other disciples, who will go onto to repeat this supernatural life-cycle fulfilling the Great Commission  - Making Disciples - of all nations (Matthew 28:16-20 disciples - born-again believers in the Lord Jesus).

Conclusion

1
 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free — and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.

John 3:1-21 English Standard Version - You Must Be Born Again
Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus[a] by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” 3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again[b] he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old?  Read more...

Ephesians 2:14-16 New International Version (NIV)
For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one (both Jews and Non-Jews known as Gentiles) and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in His flesh (the Messiah) the man-made law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in Himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross (stake or tree as it is sometimes referred to in different Bible translations), by which he put to death their hostility (toward each other).

1 Timothy 2:5
For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity--the man Christ Jesus. and 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
