God's Unmerited Favour

The world replaces negative thinking with subjective positive thinking, because they long to be happy and pain free, but those whose minds are being renewed day-by-day by the Word of God have found God's unmerited favour better known as God's grace.

God uses things like discontentment, sadness, anxiety, fear, and pain to draw His children back to Him much like a hen gathering her chicks.

LOVE Changes Everything "And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love; and He  that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him" {1 John 4:16}.

Matthew 22:37-40
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart  and with all your soul and with all your mind." This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is  like it: "Love your neighbor as yourself." All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. Read more

The Election of Grace Make it Possible to be Saved:
The Scripture speaks (1) of the election of individuals to office or to honour and privilege, e.g., Abraham, Jacob, Saul, David, Solomon, were all chosen by God for the positions they held; so also were the apostles. (2) There is also an election of nations to special privileges, e.g., the Hebrews (Deu 7:6; Rom 9:4). (3) But in addition there is an election of individuals to eternal life (2Th 2:13; Eph 1:4; 1Pe 1:2; Jhn 13:18).
The ground of this election to salvation is the good pleasure of God (Eph 1:5,11; Mat 11:25,26; Jhn 15:16,19). God claims the right so to do (Rom 9:16,21).

It is not conditioned on faith or repentance, but is of sovereign grace (Rom 11:4-6; Eph 1:3-6). All that pertain to salvation, the means (Eph 2:8; 2Th 2:13) as well as the end, are of God (Act 5:31; 2Ti 2:25; 1Cr 1:30; Eph 2:5,10).

Faith and repentance and all other graces are the exercises of a regenerated soul; and regeneration is God's work, a "new creature."

Men are elected "to salvation," "to the adoption of sons," "to be holy and without blame before Him in love" (
2Th 2:13; Gal 4:4,5; Eph 1:4). The ultimate end of election is the praise of God's grace (Eph 1:6,12). (See PREDESTINATION.)

Biblical Restorative Justice - Change from the Inside Out

As  Dr. Bob Kellemen continues to develop Gospel-Centered Counseling: How Christ Changes Lives, our salvation not only forgives our sin (justification) and reconciles us to God (reconciliation). Our salvation also changes us by implanting a new heart within us (regeneration) and embedding new resurrection power in us to be victorious over sin (redemption). Read more...

Becoming an Ambassador - Change We Must, Let it Begin With Me

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us (2 Corinthians 5:18-20).
Hebrews 4:12

"For the Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

Self-Entitlement and the allusion of self-sufficiency is a worldly epidemic.

When people try to understand the Word of God with their fallible mind and rebellious nature, rather, than recognizing the smallness of their greatness they defy God's sovereignty. However,
the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God (1 Corinthians 1:18).

I, for one, am very grateful for having received the unmerited favour of God. By hearing the Word He graciously drew me enabling me to understand and humbly accept the gifts of faith and repentance in order to be reconciled with the One I love and the One who loves me.

Irresistible Grace - the 'more' you have been searching for all along.

“Irresistible grace” is a phrase that is used to summarize what the Bible teaches about the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit in the salvation of sinners. It is represented by the “I” in the acronym TULIP that is commonly used to enumerate what are known as the five points of Calvinism or the doctrines of grace. The doctrine is also known as “effectual calling,” “efficacious grace,” “efficacious call of the Spirit,” and “transformed by the Holy Spirit.” Each of these terms reveals some aspect of what the Bible teaches about the doctrine of irresistible grace. However, what is important is not the name assigned to the doctrine but how accurately the doctrine summarizes what the Bible teaches about the nature and purpose of the work of the Holy Spirit in the salvation of sinful, spiritually dead men. No matter which name you use to refer to the doctrine of irresistible grace, a thorough study of the Bible will reveal that, when properly understood, it is an accurate description of what the Bible teaches on this important subject.
